Hawaii is the 50th state of the USA. This archipelago of eight paradise islands in the Pacific Ocean may be a tourist heaven but native culture is still strong amongst the islanders. Traveller Megan McCormick visits the Na Pali coast of the lush island of Kauai, heads south to Oahu and the big cities of Honolulu and Waikiki, travels by mule on Maui to discover the world's largest inactive volcano and ends her journey on the island of Hawaii, also known as Big Island.
